Whole blood transcriptional profiling of 15 fluctuating Parkinson's disease patients at two time-points: prior to medication (OFF), and following dopaminergic treatment (ON)
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: In this work, we wanted to investigate the immunological impact of motor fluctuations in Parkinson's disease patients by analyzing blood transcriptomic signatures during motor state transitions. This within-subject design allowed us to isolate dynamic gene expression changes linked specifically to motor state that we could relate with immunological changes.
