A thermoresponsive and recyclable nanomaterial was synthesized by surface modification of magnetite nanoparticles (MNPs) with poly(<i>N</i>-isopropylacrylamide-<i>co</i>-diethylaminoethyl methacrylate) (P(NIPAAm-<i>co</i>-DEAEMA)), having PNIPAAm as a thermoresponsive moiety and PDEAEMA for catalyst binding.
