The genome sequence of the common buff snailkiller, Tetanocera ferruginea (Fallen, 1820).


ABSTRACT: We present a genome assembly from an individual male Tetanocera ferruginea (the common buff snailkiller; Arthropoda; Insecta; Diptera; Sciomyzidae). The genome sequence is 790.4 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 7 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X and Y sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 17.07 kilobases in length.
