The anticancer effect of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) largely relies on cellular responses such as alteration of gene expression. Although ZnO NPs have been reported to induce transcriptional changes, the potential of ZnO NPs to affect cellular translatome remains largely unknown.
