The aggressive nature and poor prognosis of lung cancer led us to explore the mechanisms driving disease progression. Utilizing our invasive cell-based model, we identified methylthioadenosine phosphorylase (MTAP) and confirmed its suppressive effects on tumorigenesis and metastasis.
