Bacterial persister cells - a metabolically dormant subpopulation tolerant to antimicrobials - contribute to chronic infections and are thought to evade host immunity. In this work, we studied the ability of <i>Pseudomonas aeruginosa</i> persister cells to withstand host innate immunity.
