TET2 affects keratinocytes and psoriatic dermatitis by regulating MECOM and NTRK1 hydroxymethylation

ABSTRACT: The ten-eleven translocation (TET) family dioxygenases TET2 oxidize 5-methylcytosine (5-mC) to 5-hmC in DNA. DNA hydroxymethylation is the most crucial epigenetic modifications in the occurrence and development of a variety of skin diseases. The goal is to determine the targets of TET2 knockdown including DNA hydroxymethylation in keratinocytes. We profiled a number of important signaling pathways and key factors that may be associated with psoriasis hydroxymethylation and may be potential biomarkers for psoriasis.
