Epithelial interferon-stimulated gene programs modulate chemotherapy sensitivity in colorectal cancer via EPSTI1
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Precision oncology research typically utilizes patient-derived tumor organoids (PDTO) to predict clinical outcomes, but such efforts are often not directed towards identification of molecular factors underlying differential responses to therapy. Here, we performed bulk RNA-sequencing on treatment-naive PDTOs and combined gene expression data with in vitro drug response data to identify transcriptomic features and programs associated with low chemosensitivity.
