Pyruvate, lactate, and hypoxia reprogram murine CD8 T cell chromatin landscape
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: To investigate how metabolic and environmental cues shape gene regulation and chromatin accessibility in T cells, CD8 T cells were isolated from mice, activated in vitro, and exposed to lactate, pyruvate, sodium chloride, or hypoxic conditions. On day 3 post-activation, cells were harvested for RNA-seq and ATAC-seq analyses. This integrative approach enabled the identification of transcriptional and epigenetic changes in response to distinct metabolic and oxygen availability conditions
