Transcriptional profiling of AGPS knockout breast cancer cells treated with TGF-B
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This study investigates the transcriptional changes associated with depleting ether lipids via AGPS (alkylglycerone phosphate synthase) knockout in epithelial PyMT-1099 murine breast cancer cells. RNA-Seq was performed to compare the gene expression profiles between AGPS knockout and control cells, both in the presence and absence of TGF-B treatment. The data provide insights into how ether lipid metabolism intersects with TGF-B-mediated signaling pathways and epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer.
