Induced osteogenic transdifferentiation reprograms malignant phenotypes in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This study characterizes transcriptional changes associated with osteogenic induction in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) cell lines. Capan-2 and PANC-1 cells were cultured under control conditions or osteogenic induction and collected at day 0, day 7, and day 14. Bulk RNA sequencing was performed to identify gene expression dynamics during osteogenic reprogramming. Analyses revealed activation of osteogenic markers and related pathways, along with suppression of cell-cycle programs. These datasets provide a transcriptomic framework for understanding osteogenic plasticity in PDAC cells.
