Whole-genome microarray profiling of nutrient-deprived medium (NDM) in human PANC-1 pancreatic cancer cells
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma cells often encounter nutrient deprivation in the tumor microenvironment and are thought to adapt by altering the expression of multiple genes. However, comprehensive time-resolved profiling of transcriptional responses under nutrient-deprived conditions remains limited. Here, we performed whole-genome microarray expression profiling to characterize gene expression changes in the human pancreatic cancer cell line PANC-1 cultured in nutrient-deprived medium. The dataset captures dynamic nutrient stress–associated gene sets and metabolic remodeling, including induction of genes linked to pentose phosphate pathway–related adaptation (e.g., TKTL1). This dataset provides a resource for studying transcriptional dynamics underlying pancreatic cancer cell survival under nutrient deprivation.
