Transcriptomic changes in primary human keratinocytes following exposure to lamotrigine, lamotrigine-N2-oxide, lamotrigine in combination with valproic acid or interferon-γ, and interferon-γ alone


ABSTRACT: Bulk RNA sequencing with differential expression analysis was used to examine transcriptional changes in keratinocytes after exposure to lamotrigine (LTG), its CYP-mediated metabolite LTG-N2-oxide, and co-incubated LTG with valproic acid (VPA). IFN-γ served as a positive control, as its effects on keratinocytes are well documented.
