Plasma metabolomic profiling reveals altered metabolic pathways associated with idiopathic hyperaldosteronism

ABSTRACT: This study investigated plasma metabolic alterations associated with idiopathic hyperaldosteronism using untargeted liquid chromatography coupled with high-resolution mass spectrometry. Plasma samples from patients with idiopathic hyperaldosteronism and healthy controls were analyzed using a Vanquis UHPLC system coupled to an Orbitrap Exploris 480 mass spectrometer.
