Untargeted LC-MS/MS metabolomic profiling of Helicobacter pylori-infected gastric epithelial cells treated with Latilactobacillus sakei

ABSTRACT: This study employed untargeted LC-MS/MS metabolomics to investigate the effects of Latilactobacillus sakei on metabolic alterations in Helicobacter pylori-infected gastric epithelial cells. Metabolomic analysis revealed that Latilactobacillus sakei intervention modulated host cellular metabolism, particularly nicotinate and nicotinamide metabolism, suggesting a potential role for bacterial-associated metabolites in restoring metabolic homeostasis during H. pylori infection.
