Project description:To investigate the role of NvpaxA in cnidocyte gene regulatory networks, bulk mRNA sequencing was performed on gastrula-stage Nematostella vectensis embryos (28 hours post fertilization at 24°C) following RNAi-mediated NvpaxA knockdown. Four paired experimental (NvpaxA shRNA) and scramble RNA control replicates were sequenced. Each replicate consisted of approximately 1000 injected embryos.
