Project description:IFRD1 is required for reserve stem cell proliferation in multiple tissues. Repeated cerulein treatment causes damage and induces proliferation in otherwise terminally differentiated pancreatic acinar cells. We used microarrays to detail gene expression changes in IFRD1 null mice treated with cerulein compared to WT mice treated with cerulein.
Project description:Pancreas tissue derived from mice with intraperitoneal injection of saline, cerulein or polyI:C plus cerulein, total RNA was extracted and deep sequenced to compare the gene expression profiles among control, acute pancreatitis and intervention of polyI:C on acute pancreatitis.
