Transcriptome analysis between stem and root tissue of Operculina turpethum (L.) Silva Manso associated with expression of candidate genes for synthesis of medicinally important secondary metabolites.
Our goal was to determine if histone H1 is involved in transcription regulation. RNA interference was used to deplete histone H1 from bloodstream form T. brucei in culture. Total RNA was extracted and RNAseq was used to compare the expression profile of H1 depleted clones and parental cell-line.
We performed an analysis of the substrate specificity preferences of native and synthetic cardosin B using the Proteomic Identification of protease Cleavage Sites methodology and some differences regarding preference and stringency of the subsite binding pockets were observed.
