Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cells rely on phospho-signaling pathways to gain unlimited proliferation potential. Here, we used domain-focused CRISPR screening to identify the nuclear phosphatase SCP4 as a dependency in AML, yet this enzyme is dispensable in normal hematopoietic progenitor cells. Usi...

Lipids play a crucial role in signalling and metabolism, regulating the development and maintenance of the skeleton. Membrane lipids have been hypothesised to act as intermediates upstream of orphan phosphatase 1 (PHOSPHO1), a major contributor to phosphate generation required for bone mineralisatio...

RNA sequencing of wildtype and PHOSPHO1 knockout brown fat
We report the RNA expression of the mature brown fat from 6 week old wild type (WT) and PHOSPHO1 knockout (KO) mice. Mature brown fat was isolated from brown adipose tissue after collagenase digestion. Increased expression of mitochondrial genes is found in KO brown fat.
