We used anti-miPEP31 to immnoprecipitated the interacting protein or peptides. Then segregate ingredients ≤ 10 kD and > 3 kD. All mass spectrometric experiments were performed on a QE-Plus mass spectrometer connected to an Easy-nLC 2000 via an Easy Spray (ThermoFisher Scientific).

Glycolysis is the central pathway for sugar metabolism in most living organisms. The single celled eukaryote yeast is a widely used model organism for higher eukaryotes in which the regulation of glycolysis is widely studied. S. cerevisiae is one of the few eukaryotic organisms that can efficiently ...

We compared the performance of multidimensional protein identification (MudPIT) on Velos Pro Orbitrap (VPO) and Velos Orbitrap Elite (VOE) mass spectrometers to single dimension reversed phase (RP) chromatography on a Q Exactive Plus (QE+) and an Orbitrap Fusion™ Lumos™ (OFL). Using a digested HeLa...

Microglia, the resident immune cells of the brain, can exhibit a broad range of activation phenotypes, many of which have been implicated in several diseases and disorders of the central nervous system including alcohol use disorders and disorders. By utilizing a method optimized for sensitive and ...

Gambelli et al., 2021, investigate methylomirabilis bacteria, which perform anaerobic methane oxidation coupled to nitrite reduction via an intra-aerobic pathway to produce carbon dioxide and dinitrogen gas. These bacteria possess an unusual polygonal cell shape with sharp ridges that run along the...

Mitochondrial disorders frequently manifest with life-threatening hepatic metabolic crises. Using a global Sfxn5-knockout mouse model, we investigated the systemic consequences of disrupting this mitochondrial inner-membrane transporter through integrated biochemical, metabolomic, histological, and ...

Ewout Knibbe et al.,(Pascale Daran-Lapujade Lab, TU Delft) report on engineered yeast strains to express the human glycolysis pathway instead of the native pathway enzymes. The goal of the project is to investigate the conservation of these functions between species. The engineered yeast strains wer...

This project contains untargeted LC–MS/MS metabolomic data generated from jejunal content samples of adult male yaks under different dietary conditions. Samples from yaks fed a basal diet and those receiving dietary microbial fermentation-derived supplementation were analyzed to characterize changes...
