Rhizobium leguminosarum bv viciae strain 3841 was inoculated onto pea (Pisum sativum) seeds and nodules were harvested at 28 d. The gene expression was compared to free-living bacteria grown on succinate ammonia AMS medium.
ORGANISM(S): Rhizobium leguminosarum
Time course of bacteroid formation. Bacteroids were harvested from pea nodules at 7, 15 and 21 d after inoculation onto 7 d old pea plants. The transcription profile of each bacteroid sample at the 3 time points was compared to cells grown in free-living culture on succinate ammonia AMS.
ORGANISM(S): Rhizobium leguminosarum
Rhizobium leguminosarum bivar viciae strain 3841 was grown on AMS minimal medium with either succinate ammonia or glucose ammonia as carbon and nitrogen sources. Gene expression was compared between the two crabon sources. Total RNA was amplified using Genispheres SenseAmp kit.

DNA copy number profiles can identify patients with a defect in BRCA1 or BRCA2. We previously showed that patients with a BRCA1 like profile benefit from intensified alkylating chemotherapy (IA, 4 cycles 5-fluorouracyl (5FU), epirubicin, cyclophosphamide (C) + 1 cycle carboplatin, thiotepa and cycl...

Rhizobium leguminosarum biovar viciae strain 3841 was inoculated onto Viccia cracca seeds and bacteroids were harvested at 28d. Gene expression was then compared to free-living Rhizobium leguminosarum biovar viciae strain 3841 grown on succinate ammonia AMS.
ORGANISM(S): Rhizobium leguminosarum
Exploratory study of copy number profiles of male breast cancer patients. The experiment contains 75 male breast cancer samples, analysed on a 135K whole genome CGH array
ORGANISM(S): Homo sapiens
Pea plants of 7, 14 or 21 were infected with Rhizobium leguminosarum biovar viciae strain Rlv3841 and bacterial gene expression measured 24 hours later. Expression was compared to bacteria grown in the laboratory on glucose ammonia.
ORGANISM(S): Rhizobium leguminosarum
Wildtype bacteroids of Rhizobium leguminosarum biovar viciae 3841 were compared to a bacA mutant. In both cases bacteroids were harvested from 7 day old nodules from pea plants.
ORGANISM(S): Rhizobium leguminosarum
Rhizobium leguminosarum biovar viciae strain Rlv3841 was grown for 7 d in the pea or alfalfa or sugarbeet rhizosphere (plants all 7 d old at inoculation) and compared against bacteria grown on glucose ammonia AMS medium in the laboratory.
ORGANISM(S): Rhizobium leguminosarum
Rhizobium leguminosaeum biovar viciae strain Rlv3841 was inoculated at either 10_3 CFU ot 10_8 CFU into the rhizosphere of 7 d old peas and the bacteria were harvested 7 days post inoculation. They were compared indircetly against a control of glucose ammonia grown laboratory cells.
