The mechanism of FSTL3 in the progression of colon cancer
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: FSTL3 is a multifunctional protein, and its role in cancer has attracted considerable attention. Firstly, overexpression of FSTL3 has been found to be closely associated with the occurrence and development of various tumors. The expression levels of FSTL3 are significantly elevated, which is linked to its role in promoting tumor cell proliferation, migration, and invasion. Additionally, the expression levels of FSTL3 are associated with the grading and prognosis of tumors, where high expression of FSTL3 is often correlated with the malignancy and adverse prognosis of tumors. Therefore, this study primarily explores the mechanisms by which FSTL3, acting as an exosomal cytokine, promotes the progression of colon cancer.
