This study elucidates the whole proteome changes in the MDR isolates of K. penumoniae, A. baumannii, E. coli, and P. aeruginiosa in the presence of Ampicillin, Kanamycin, and Nalidixic acid. Label-free SWATH-MS is used for protein quantitation of antibiotics treated and untreated samples.

Phagocytosis and killing of the opportunistic pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa by polymorphonuclear neutrophils (PMNs) is the major antipseudomonal host defense of vertebrates. By screening a transposon library of the clinical P. aeruginosa isolate TBCF10839 that can grow and replicate in PMNs, a mut...

Unraveling complex signaling programs animating developmental lineage-decisions is pivotal to differentiate human pluripotent stem cells (hPSC) into pure populations of desired lineages for regenerative medicine. Developmental signals are strikingly temporally dynamic: BMP and Wnt initially specify ...

Phytophthora root rot caused by the hemibiotrophic oomycete, Phytophthora cinnamomi is a major biotic hindrance in meeting the ever-increasing demand for avocados. In addition, the pathogen is a global menace to agriculture, horticulture and forestry. Phosphite trunk injections/foliar sprays remains...

MLL encodes a histone methyltransferase that is critical in maintaining gene expression during embryonic development and hematopoiesis. 11q23 translocations encode chimeric MLL fusions that act as potent drivers of acute leukemia. However, it remains unclear what portion of the leukemic genome is un...
