In order to increase the proteome coverage, a subfractionation strategy has been performed to obtain proteins belonging to four different cellular compartments (i.e., cytoplasm (CYT), membrane (MB), organelle (ORG), and nucleus (NUC)). Experiments have been done in triplicate.

Lineage negativ Sca1+ Kit+ bone marrow cells (containing putative hematopoietic stem cells) subfractionation based on CD34 and FLT3 identifies three functionally destinc subpopulations (LSKCD34-FLT3-, LSKCD34+FLT3- & LSKCD34+FLT3+). Keywords: cell type comparison

NuMat is a residual structure resistant to solubilization by nucleases, detergents, and salt solutions that retains the morphology of the nucleus. Purported to be the basis of nuclear architecture, it has remained further undissected. We use a chaotrope to subfractionate the nuclear matrix and decip...

Integrated in the Chromosomic-centric Human Proteome Project (C-HPP), a lymphocytic B-cell line (Ramos) was selected as a model of B-cells. We performed a subfractionation strategy (in triplicate) for the extraction of proteins from 4 different fractions (cytoplasm, CYT; organella, ORG; membrane, MB...
