Here we reported 226 sperm proteins from the Hong Kong oyster Crassostrea hongkongensis. Proteins extracted from three sperm samples were separated by SDS-PAGE, analyzed by LC-MS/MS and identified using Mascot.

Histone deacetylases (HDACs) regulate gene expression. Inhibition of class I HDACs has been shown to inhibit cancer cell growth. Largazole, a new potent HDAC inhibitor, shows strong antitumor activity, presumably by modulating transcription of cancer relevant genes. We used microarray analysis of hu...

Sperm proteins presumably play critical roles in reproduction, but in many non-model animals their identities are unknown. Here we report 147 sperm proteins from the aquatic echiuran worm Urechis unicinctus, the first sperm proteome in the phylum Annelida.

Sperm contains essential proteins for interaction with eggs, however, there are only several sperm proteins reported with important role in fertilization, and gamete proteomics are limited in marine invertebrate species. We present here a sperm proteomic profile of marine mussel Mytilus galloprovinc...

bHLH122 could be induced by salt, osmotic and drought stress except ABA, the transgentic Arabidopsis were more tolerant to abiotic stresses, such as drought and salt. What's more, in the overexpression plants, the endogenesis ABA contents were higher than WT. We found there existed an interaction be...
