Proteomic Analysis of a saline-alkali tolerant green microalga under NaCl stress


ABSTRACT: This project carried out a quantitative study of a saline-alkali tolerant green microalga under NaCl stress using iTRAQ labling and LC–MS/MS proteomic analysis. in order to ensurea high degre of credibility of the results, we quantitatively analyzed the changes. The standard for up-or down-regulated modification sites was set as a fold change>1.5 or <0.7, and p< 0.05, respectively. In this study, we carried out a systematic bioinformatics analysis of proteins containing quantitative information, including protein annotation, functional classification, functional enrichmentand cluster analysis based on functional enrichment.

Studying how freshwater cells modify metabolism and membrane lipids in response to salt stress is important for understanding how freshwater organisms adapt to salt stress and investigating new osmoregulatory ways.
