In this study, we wanted to explore the protein interactors of Cdh1, a subunit of the E3 Ubiquitin-Ligase Cdh1-APC. Our data show that in addition to interacting with other components of the Cdh1-APC complex, Cdh1 interacts with regulators of translation.

Background: E-cadherin is an adherens junction protein that forms homophilic intercellular contacts in epithelial cells while also interacting with the intracellular cytoskeletal networks. It has roles including establishment and maintenance of cell polarity, differentiation, migration and signallin...

E-cadherin, a protein encoded by the CDH1 gene is the dominant epithelial cell adhesion molecule playing a crucial role in epithelial tissue polarity and structural integrity. The progression of 90% or more carcinomas is believed to be mediated by disruption of normal E-cadherin expression, subcellu...

Cdh1 and Trp53 Knockout organoid, Cdh1, Trp53 and Smad4 Knockout organoid RNA sequencing
We wished to investigate the role of E-cadherin loss in our mouse parietal cell/pre-parietal cell E-cadherin knock-out, p53 knock-out, oncogenic Kras induced model of gastric cancer. As such, we isolated RNA from stomach tissue from our E-cadherin knock-out model (Atp4b-Cre;Cdh1(fl/fl);Kras(LSL-G12D...

Employing Cre/loxP technology, a mouse model of liver specific Cdh1 (E-cadherin) depletion was created (fl/fl | +/wt). Previously, the mice had already been compared to littermates with normal Ecadherin levels (fl/fl | wt/wt), using a broad range of laboratory methods (Serum parameters, long-term we...

Transcriptional profiling of Cdh1-associated genes in mouse melanoma.
Analysis of gene expression profile in Ras-induced senescent human diploid fibroblasts with or without depletion of fzr1/cdh1. Results provide insight into the effect on fzr1/cdh1 on the regulation of senescence-associated gene expression in human diploid fibroblasts. IMR-90-ER:Ras cells were cultu...

To futher understand the properties of CDH1+ GSCs and CDH1- GSCs, flow cytometry was used to sort the twopopulations after trypsin digestion and they were compared by total RNA sequencing (RNA-seq). The data clearlyshowed CDH1+ and CDH1- cells as having highly distinct profiles. In particular, numer...

The study found reciprocal regulation between SIRT6 and APC/C. While SIRT6 is ubiquitinated by APC/C and degraded, CDH1, a co-activator of APC/C, is also deacetylated by SIRT6 and degraded.
