We found that the homologous proteins of SPD_0310 of Streptococcus pneumoniae widely exists in Gram-positive bacteria. SPD_0310 has heme binding ability. In the GST pull-down experiment, we found that it can interact with several proteins.

Upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC) is often diagnosed late and exhibits poor prognosis. Only limited data are available concerning potential noninvasive biomarkers for disease monitoring. Here, we investigated the proteomic profile of plasma in 362 UTUC patients and 239 healthy control samples....

Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality after trauma. Here, we integrate metabolomics and proteomics in up to 680 individuals with and without DVT after trauma (pt-DVT) to reveal the metabolic alterations and their function, and provide potential biomarkers. We carri...

Post-translational modification (PTM) refers to the chemical modification of proteins following translation, which can regulate protein activity, localization, folding, and interactions with other biomacromolecules (including proteins, nucleic acids, and lipids). Increasing evidence suggests that ma...

Our study have shown that PPDPF promoted NF-κB activation through TRIM21-mediated K63-linked ubiquitination of RIPK1 in hepatocytes. Upon TNF-α stimulation, PPDPF enhances TRIM21/RIPK1 interaction and increases TRIM21-mediated K63-linked ubiquitination of RIPK1, which promotes NF-κB activation. To ma...

In this study, we established a type 2 diabetes model in C57BL/6 mice through high-fat diet induction and STZ injection. Based on this animal model, we simulated clinically common hard-to-heal chronic diabetic skin wounds by implanting a mixed bacterial fluid, including Methicillin-resistant Staphyl...
