To gain insights into cellular responses of brown and white adipoctes to vaspin a proteomic analysis was concucted. Murine brown (imBA) and white (3T3L1) cells were treated with 500 ng/ml vaspin for 6h, 12h and 24h, followed by lysis in RIPA buffer.

Bisphenol A (BPA), which is used in a variety of consumer-related plastic products, was reported to cause metabolic disruption. Substitute compounds are increasingly emerging, but are not sufficiently investigated. In this study, we aimed to investigate the mode of action of BPA and four of its subs...

In contrast to mammals, zebrafish regenerate heart injuries via proliferation of cardiomyocytes located at the wound border. Here, we show that tomo-seq can be used to identify whole-genome transcriptional profiles of the injury zone, the border zone and the healthy myocardium. Interestingly, the bo...

Since infectious diseases caused by Staphylococcus aureus are still a major threat for human health we aimed to gain a detailed understanding of the molecular interplay of pathogen and host upon internalization by proteome analyses. In the present study we infected human alveolar epithelial A549 cel...
