Previous studies have reported that STAT4 rs7574865 conferred the susceptibility to systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). In this study, a meta-analysis (including 32 comparative studies of 11384 patients and 17609 controls) was conducted to investigate the role of STAT4 polymorphism in SLE in a comprehensive way.
