Exosome-like extracellular vesicles (EVs) are very important vesicles for intercellular signal transmission. Although host factors involving exosome-like EV production and release has been reported, the cellular signaling pathway regulating EV production is largely unknown. Here we performed a kinas...

The cellular cytotoxicity of APY0201, a PIKfyve inhibitor, against multiple myeloma was initially identified in an unbiased in vitro chemical library screen. Activity was confirmed in all 25 cell lines tested and 40% of 100 ex vivo patient derived primary samples, and positively correlated with samp...

Identification of PIKfyve kinase as a target in multiple myeloma
We used HDXMS to study the confomational changes induced in a PIKfyve construct upon binding PI3P membrane and a variety of inhibitors. Here we showed a significant protection in deuterium exchange upon binding all inhibitors, and regions of protection and exposure upon binding PI3P membrane.
