Tomato MAPKKK interacts with the N. benthamiana homologue of TFT3. MAPKKK-HA was transiently expressed in N. benthamiana leaves and immunoprecipitated using -HA agarose beads. 12 unique peptides of N. benthamiana TFT3 homologue were identified by liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry.

Proteogenomics is a research field where proteome data is used to improve gene annotation. To achieve this, customized protein databases are constructed to match proteomic data. We perform a proteogenomic analysis using N-terminal COFRADIC data in order to identify novel translational initiation sta...

Removal of the N-terminal formyl group on nascent proteins by peptide deformylase (PDF) is the most prevalent protein modification in bacteria that impacts over 90% of the proteome. PDF is essential and a critical target of antibiotic development; however, its role in bacterial physiology remains a ...

Many events in viral infection are regulated through post-translational modification. In the case of positive-sense RNA viruses such as SARS-CoV-2 which encodes two viral proteases, proteolytic cleavage of both viral and cellular proteins is crucial for productive viral infection. In this work we st...
